The beautifully-bred Bedtime Story romps in the Chesham Stakes at RA by open lengths. She's by Frankel out of Mecca's Angel.

Bedtime Story won the Silver Flash S (G3) at Leopardstown today. She is Frankel's 99th graded/group stakes winner and ''possibly the shortest priced winner Aidan O’Brien has ever trained, and possibly the shortest-priced winner of an Irish Group race on the flat this century.'' She was 1/16.

Ireland-based trainer Aidan O’Brien has shipped Greenfinch to the U.S. for the Saratoga Oaks. She is coming off a front-running, dominant victory in the listed Cairn Rouge Stakes at Killarney just two weeks ago. In her race prior to that, the Irish Oaks Trial, Greenfinch was a late-running third, beaten three-quarters of a length.

The scratch of Segesta may actually benefit Greenfinch if jockey Ryan Moore elects to use the tactics employed in the Cairn Rouge.

“She showed that she has speed winning the last time and she’s in good order,” said T.J. Comerford, an assistant to O’Brien.

Greenfinch, by Justify, is a half-sister to Group 1 winners Roly Poly and U S Navy Flag as well as the U.S-campaigned Grade 3 winner Cover Song.

Three G1 winners for Liscanna now as Opera Singer won the Prix Marcel Boussac (G1) at Longchamp.

Opera Singer notched another G1 today in the Nassau S. Doha (Sea The Stars x Treve) was fifth. See The Fire (STS X G1W Arabian Queen) was second.
