Delgado sounds really, really confident in Power Squeeze's chances. TA is a beast, but we'll see what happens.
I’d love to see her win. She’s a pretty nice filly!

After a breakdown in the Alphabet Soup Handicap, all turf races are now off the turf. A 2 year old filly, 2/5 favorite Anabam, also broke down in the 5th race (on dirt) :(

So sorry to hear this - this track needs to just go away. Their turf track seems unsafe still.

And apparently the last winner was a Jamie Ness whose most recent race resulted in a vet-voided claim.

Some tracks break your heart when they close down. And some tracks are Parx.

Could be a really good pay day for betters if Anna loses the Cotillion S. especially if you like Power Squeeze or Tarifa. Power Squeeze is 17-1 and Tarifa is 20-1

Thorpedo Anna wins by a head or half a head over a very game Gun Song who started to come back at her in the end. Tarifa was third.

Boy, they all tried to beat her...tried to block her, kept her trapped on the rail, bur TA was too good. Not an easy win, but she earned that.

She earned it but half to say, that doesn't make me to pleased to go with her in the breeders cup. The Travers was by far the best and hardest race she has run, and by that it looks like it took a lot out of her. I wouldn't be surprised to see her bounce in the distaff, like Swiss Skydiver did. Run hard and good all year just didn't have enough for the final big race.

Why was the starting time so late?

There were some incidents/objections in previous races (like the breakdown in the Alphabet Soup?) that pushed the times back.

This was the place to beat her and she did start her run a little late, but one has to wonder if she'll be at her best for the Distaff.

It reminds me of Shared Belief going into the 2014 BC Classic. It’ll be interesting to see how McPeek handles her training between now and then.

I agree. I think the Travers took quite a bit out of her and wish she would have worked up to the BC Distaff.

Seize the Grey wins the PA Derby. Really good run by the colt, who seems to have discovered how much he WANTS to win. Nice.
Stronghold got up for 2nd over a very close Dragoon Guard.

The race was probably over when Unmatched Wisdom broke a step slow and then the 70-1 shot floated him wide, preventing any pace from developing, but Seize the Grey is certainly capable of running a good race when he gets into his stride. Good choice to go for this race over the Travers.

The way I was screaming probably made my neighbors want to call the police, lol. So happy for StG!
