BOLD JOURNEY is entered in the G1 Carter at Aqueduct on Saturday. Nothing like throwing him in the deep end of the pool without a life vest. Poor thing struggles to win allowances. But he did get a nice speed figure in his last race. Sometimes I wonder how Bill Mott got in the hall of fame. He seems to flounder around with a lot of horses. IDK what to think.

ANOTHER HOT MESS entered in a stakes race, Spotted Horse Stakes, on Friday at Evangeline Downs.

BOLD JOURNEY is the most frustratingly inconsistent horse I have ever followed. Last time out he ran an eye-popping minus 5 on the Thorograph scale, which of course filled me with hope, and then today he barely lifted a hoof, and ran dead last. His one big accomplishment was to finally change his lead after running half the stretch on the wrong one.

SNAP DECISION entered in the G2 Temple Gwalthmey Hurdle at Middleburg this coming Saturday. He is still the highweight by 14-18 lbs. Shameful. They should have awarded him the Eclipse award if they think he is that much better than all the others. He is the only American-bred in the race.

SNAP DECISION won his race at Middleburg on Saturday by almost 4 lengths. He led wire to wire. Hoping this will be his year to get that elusive Eclipse.

BATTLE CALL won race #9 at Santa Anita on April 28. His record is now 4-1-1-0. Trailed the field early, circled the field on the turn and ran down the leader. Pretty impressive coming off a 12-month layoff.

CORSINI just had about the worst ride I have ever seen in race 7 at CD today.. Gafflione kept her way wide the entire way around and coming off the far turn it looked like she lost her hind action. Very promising filly sabotaged by stupid jock. Pathetic.
