All of the first crop hype in the last month had been the exceptional group of horses Gun Runner had heading into the Derby/Oaks. Echo Zulu ran with merit, but Taiba and Cyberknife were no shows.

If I were Taylor Made, then I'd be punching the air. Their young sire had the 2nd and 4th, nearly the 1st and 3rd if not for a crazy longshot shooting up the rail.

I always thought of "punching the air" as a sign of jubilation and victory.

Maybe that has to do with Justify's conformation? I mean...when I look at him, I don't think, 'boy, he sure looks like a turf horse.'

I just checked Racing Post again and Justify has no entries in GB and Ireland. The only entry I can find is the one today in Indiana.

Results:
Huntertown (Good Samaritan) is the first starter and first winner for his sire. won R1 at Horseshoe Indianapolis by 6¾ lenghts. Amira Wins (Always Dreaming) finished last in the same race (her second start). Prove Right (Justify) was a veterinarian scratch here too.
Araya (Good Magic) was second beaten 1¾ lenghts on R3 also at Horseshoe Indianapolis.

It is surprising. Usually they're pushing hard to get those first juvenile runners and winners out there to keep promoting the stallion, especially into this 4th season at stud.

I would guess so. It seems like, when it comes to first year Scat Daddy sons, Sioux Nation is the one tapping into the precocity of the sireline. Seems like he is outperforming expectations so far (he’s served huge books but for much more commercial fees of €12,500 then €10,000). following the scratch of Prove Right, Justify's first starter will instead be Tahoma (o/o Madera Dancer) at SA, 5/22, R2. he is trained by Doug O'Neill for West Coast Stables and will be ridden by Juan Hernandez.

Mendlesshon has his first runner running tomorrow at The Curragh
Congo River trained by Aiden O brien and owned by Coolmore.
My racehorse have a Mendlesshon filly with John Gosden which was purchased at the Keenland Sales
I wll be following this sire along with Zarak
