Asahi Rising(JPN)(Royal Touch / Sunday Silence) died in an paddock accident at Horse Trust, Kagoshima, on Jan 23rd 2022.
She was the runner-up (to Wait a While) in the G1 American Oaks at Hollywood Park in 2006.

Miss H, a neglected 24yo mare who was rescued from a feedlot 2 days ago by R.A.C.E. Fund but could not be saved. She was by Devil’s Bag out of Dancing Heroine. She produced 11 foals, most recently a colt by Mr. Sekiguchi in 2016 named Morwen. May she rest in peace. She deserved better.
