Not This Time is maturing nicely. It was really unfortunate that he was injured, because he looked like a colt with a ton of promise, and well-suited for the classics. He is also, IMHO, the prettiest Giant's Causeway I've ever seen. Maybe he takes after Mom? :P :D
He may be in a 'plain brown wrapper,' but Protonico is a handsome fellow.

Americain has tremendous bone. He is very reminiscent of the old National Hunt-bred Thoroughbreds in the UK, the kind that could've been mistaken for a draft cross.

I really wish Americain would have more success at stud, but the Melbourne Cup-winning son of the late Dynaformer doesn't seem to have had any top runners. Maybe he would be a better fit at the Irish Stud, servicing both flat and jump mares?

Dynaformer was a beast in person. Pictures of him do him no justice. Said it before, and Ill say it again- I have never seen a TB with legs so thick and hooves so big. He takes after Daddy apparently.
Hoping he does better.

Bobby's Kitten is nice.

But yeah, Americain is a hunk. Looks so much like a warmblood.

Bobby's Kitten - neck looks disproportionally long in comparison to head.

He does have a long neck, but that doesn't bother me unless the neck looks weak. His doesn't look weak. I'd take a long, strong neck over a too short one or a big clunker of a head.

On second look, though, his shoulder could be stronger, and that's probably what makes his neck look so long.

What do you mean "shoulder could be stronger" - do you mean longer or more laid back? A shoulder not well laid back would make the neck shorter. I was comparing length of head to length of neck. Neck does look strong - it's the balance that's off.

The balance looks good to me, but I might be biased towards elegant swan necks :D
I'm more concerned with the angle of his hind pasterns in relation to his fetlocks, they definitely seem too long.

Is that a shadow on his bum, or does he have a chimera thing going on?
Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!
Like to see some stuck-up jockey boy sittin' on Dan Patch? Make your blood boil? Well, I should say!

Looks like a "bleeding shoulder" pattern on the sooty factor... but yes it's a marking if the other pics are anything to go by!

Looks like a founder case

Even when he first came to stud he was on the chunkier side, but he's downright obese now. Compare to his previous confo photo:
