Promising Run won the Istanbul Trophy (G3) in Turkey on September 3. She won the G2 Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket in GB a year ago, so this was her second group win. She is raced by Godolphin.

Taghleeb won the 1 1/8 mile $100K Remington Green Stakes (L) at Remington Park today, going from last to first in the stretch. Second start since claimed by Mike Maker and now a stakes winner. Joel Rosario gave him a perfect ride. He was a fast closing 2nd in his last race at a mile. The extra distance today made a difference. I believe he is Hard Spun's 52nd stakes winner.

Some catching up to do!

Le Romain won the Cantala Stakes (G1) at Flemington in Australia on October 29. This is his second G1 win. First Hard Spun colt/gelding to become a multiple G1 winner. I believe he is Hard Spun's only G1 winner in 2016.
