st liam's stats made me sad. i really feel like we lost what could have been a very special stallion that day and now i'm getting very sad.

He was remarkable, and sadly gone too soon. I saw him win his BC Classic - an absolutely awesome horse.

The Saint Ballado line was so unfortunate that Bloodhorse did a whole article on it.

Saint Liam had two very promising sons, but Buddy's Saint died before he even made it to retirement, and Sunriver died after only two crops. :(

The same with his sire who died young. Both were huge losses to the breed.
