Depending on the severity of the sprain, ankles can take an unbelievable amount of time to heal. I sprained my ankle in March, the doctor told me it was the worst he had seen and he was like 85. While it hasn't hurt in a long time, it still swells everyday I'm at work because I'm on my feet 10 hours a day and that's 7+ months later.

And horses have to be on their feet for longer than 10 hours a day, so...

I just saw an ad for Smiling Tiger, which says he's standing at Premier Thoroughbreds in CA. However, the place appears to be called Premier Equine Center (a rehab place). They don't have a website with their stallions listed (only http://www.smilingtigerstallion.com/), but there are a few standing alongside him that I thought had disappeared!

On the Facebook page of Premier Equine Center, they say that Premier Thoroughbreds is their new breeding program. They have Facebook pages for both but only have confo pics of Smiling Tiger. They do have 2 pics of Sway Away, but they are taken from odd angles.BlindLucky wrote:I just saw an ad for Smiling Tiger, which says he's standing at Premier Thoroughbreds in CA. Yeah, I did see that, but I wonder if they can use that name since Premier Thoroughbreds is an existing business in GA. In any case, it was nice to finally find out where Sway Away wentFlanders wrote:On the Facebook page of Premier Equine Center, they say that Premier Thoroughbreds is their new breeding program. Hard Spun will be standing at Darley Japan for the 2014 northern hemisphere breeding season. They did the same thing with Street Sense this past year. Hopefully Hard Spun will come back home like Street Sense did.

Where is Belong to Me? He is not listed at Lane's End, is he pensioned or moved?

I didn't see anything in the news about it, but I noticed that too. Maybe he's been pensioned. He's almost 25, and they do have a propensity for keeping their pensioners around the farm. AP Indy and cranky Kingmambo are still in their old stallsflytpthestars wrote:Where is Belong to Me? He is not listed at Lane's End, is he pensioned or moved?
Hope so, anyway! He would seem to be a little old to relocate.

Typical luck for Claiborne....send off Eddington this summer, and he comes up with a Breeders' Cup winner.... not that that 1 winner would have re-filled his books.
