Depending on the severity of the sprain, ankles can take an unbelievable amount of time to heal. I sprained my ankle in March, the doctor told me it was the worst he had seen and he was like 85. While it hasn't hurt in a long time, it still swells everyday I'm at work because I'm on my feet 10 hours a day and that's 7+ months later.

And horses have to be on their feet for longer than 10 hours a day, so...

I just saw an ad for Smiling Tiger, which says he's standing at Premier Thoroughbreds in CA. However, the place appears to be called Premier Equine Center (a rehab place). They don't have a website with their stallions listed (only http://www.smilingtigerstallion.com/), but there are a few standing alongside him that I thought had disappeared!

Smiling Tiger
Sway Away (I thought he had dropped off the face of the earth... I REALLY wanted to see a conformation shot of him :lol: )

On the Facebook page of Premier Equine Center, they say that Premier Thoroughbreds is their new breeding program. They have Facebook pages for both but only have confo pics of Smiling Tiger. They do have 2 pics of Sway Away, but they are taken from odd angles.

Yeah, I did see that, but I wonder if they can use that name since Premier Thoroughbreds is an existing business in GA. In any case, it was nice to finally find out where Sway Away went :)

Hard Spun will be standing at Darley Japan for the 2014 northern hemisphere breeding season. They did the same thing with Street Sense this past year. Hopefully Hard Spun will come back home like Street Sense did.

Where is Belong to Me? He is not listed at Lane's End, is he pensioned or moved?

I didn't see anything in the news about it, but I noticed that too. Maybe he's been pensioned. He's almost 25, and they do have a propensity for keeping their pensioners around the farm. AP Indy and cranky Kingmambo are still in their old stalls :)

Hope so, anyway! He would seem to be a little old to relocate.

@DRFBreeding

Harlan’s Holiday euthanized late Friday at Haras Firmamento Farm in Argentina where he was standing SH season. According to release, Harlan’s Holiday suddenly collapsed, lost all use of hind end before prolapsing intestine from rectum.

Typical luck for Claiborne....send off Eddington this summer, and he comes up with a Breeders' Cup winner.... not that that 1 winner would have re-filled his books.

As if to celebrate his sire's success with Beholder in the BC Distaff, Asia Express(USA) 2011C. out of Running Bobcats(USA)(multiple stakes winner in the US) by Running Stag(USA), won his debut impressively by 5 lengths going 1400m dirt Newcomer Tokyo 5R today.

(Asia Express : #13 horse under Umberto Rispoli)

Henny Hughes' babies have been doing very well in Japan.
The stallion has been represented by eleven starters to date, nine of whom are already winners, including two graded winners Henny Hound(USA)(on turf) and Keiai Leone(JPN)(on dirt).

His progeny and stud record can be checked out in the following JBIS links..
