I think this is unbelievable!
The
Shirayukihime family has been represented by two individual grade stakes winners this weekend.
After
Sodashi(JPN)[2018 white filly. Kurofune(USA) x
Buchiko(JPN)(white) by King Kamehameha(JPN)] won the G3 Sapporo Nisai Stakes 1800m turf on Satuday to become the first whte thoroughbred to win a group/grade stakes on the turf in the world,
Meikei Yell(JPN)[2018 bay filly. Mikki Isle(JPN) x
Shiroingher(JPN)(white) by Harbinger(GB)] won the G3 Kokura Nisai Stakes 1200m turf on Sunday.

1st (#8) Meikei Yell(JPN) F2. Mikki Isle(JPN) x Shiroinger(JPN) by Harbinger(GB)
Meikei Yell became the third grade stakes winner (following
Hayayakko, Sodashi) and the fourth stakes winner (following
Yukichan, Hayayakko and Sodashi) for the Shirayukihime familly.
Shirayukihime is the dam of Yukichan, the second dam of Hayayakko and Sodashi, and the third dam of Meikei Yell.
Sunday Silence(USA) sired Shirayukihime(JPN), an unexpected-white filly out of a bay mare Wave Wind(USA)(by Topsider) in 1996.
And Shirayukime is now establishing a prominent bloodline.
Sunday Silence has proved that white horses and their descendants can be very competitive as thoroughbreds.
I think it's really, really amazing.
And that's just one of the miracles Sunday Silence performed as a great thoroughbred.
