OMG!!
This report is very informative and precious to me.
Remarks by Johnny Jones (Walmac) and Michael Hernon (Gainsway) are especially interesting read.
Thanks for sharing!! :D

I think this is unbelievable! :o :D 8-)
The Shirayukihime family has been represented by two individual grade stakes winners this weekend.

After Sodashi(JPN)[2018 white filly. Kurofune(USA) x Buchiko(JPN)(white) by King Kamehameha(JPN)] won the G3 Sapporo Nisai Stakes 1800m turf on Satuday to become the first whte thoroughbred to win a group/grade stakes on the turf in the world, Meikei Yell(JPN)[2018 bay filly. Mikki Isle(JPN) x Shiroingher(JPN)(white) by Harbinger(GB)] won the G3 Kokura Nisai Stakes 1200m turf on Sunday.

1st. (#13) Sodashi(JPN) F2. Kurofune(USA) x Buchiko(JPN) by King Kamehameha(JPN) 1:48.2 (record time)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvRhXePJkjY
1st (#8) Meikei Yell(JPN) F2. Mikki Isle(JPN) x Shiroinger(JPN) by Harbinger(GB)

Meikei Yell became the third grade stakes winner (following Hayayakko, Sodashi) and the fourth stakes winner (following Yukichan, Hayayakko and Sodashi) for the Shirayukihime familly.
Shirayukihime is the dam of Yukichan, the second dam of Hayayakko and Sodashi, and the third dam of Meikei Yell.

Sunday Silence(USA) sired Shirayukihime(JPN), an unexpected-white filly out of a bay mare Wave Wind(USA)(by Topsider) in 1996.
And Shirayukime is now establishing a prominent bloodline.
Sunday Silence has proved that white horses and their descendants can be very competitive as thoroughbreds.
I think it's really, really amazing. :D
And that's just one of the miracles Sunday Silence performed as a great thoroughbred.

Ivar (Agnes Gold) was a good third in the Tourist Mile Stakes at Kentucky Downs. I think he ran really well considering the winner set a track record and he was close behind the first two.

IT is not surprising that Smarty Jones will likely be remembered more as a broodmare sire than sire as his tail female is direct to La Troienne. I think that is usually why he does well crossed with Seattle Slew.

Win Win Win's injury really is a shame, as he was in career form and had a huge chance in the Dirt Mile.

I hope breeders will support him at stud; he had terrific speed and versatility as demonstrated when he ran seven furlongs on dirt in 1:20.89 and a mile on turf in 1:31.56.

Coincidentally, a recent PR article about why tendon injuries cause so many retirements.

Interestingly, there is only one tissue in the body that heals with 100% return to full strength and elasticity- any guesses?

I remember Sunday Silence son Keep The Faith(AUS) winning a 6F turf allowance in North American record time at Belmont Park in 2005.
He sired a G1 winner afterwards in his native Australia.

This looks like a bold move after his defeat (3rd) in a listed stakes last time out and he drew the widest post here.
But it's nice to see him entered in a G1 at least.
Hope he finally finds his best form here.
His M/L is 12/1.
