Oh my. That was rather special. :o
He is a big, bold colt who looks more like a 3yo. Although his wide white blaze would have made me think he was by Bricks and Mortar, instead of Maurice. I hope we get to see him again soon.

Strauss looks like a nice colt. Certainly hard to miss with that white face of his.

Paradise Lane, first foal o/o MG1W Paradise Woods, has started posting works at Saratoga.

In her second work she was the fastest of 20 at that distance; seems like she inherited her mother's speed.

Beyond Oscar (Oscar Performance x Beyond the Waves), half sister to Bricks and Mortar, just finished 2nd in the 7th at Horseshoe Indianapolis, a 7 1/2-furlong MSW on the grass for 2yo fillies. Really impressive finish considering BO blew the start and had to make up a huge amount of ground. The winner by a nose was Lucky Lesson (Lookin At Lucky).
ETA: Hmmm...there's an Objection by BO's rider.

Also in the race are Gomomischief (Into Mischief x Gomo 2020) making her 3rd start and Bollinger (Practical Joke), whose dam is a G2P 1/2 sister to G1Ws Dylan Thomas, Homecoming Queen and Queen's Logic, as well as G1P Remember When, herself the dam of G1W Serpentine. This is also start #3 for Bollinger.
This race was canceled. Rainbow Olly is entered Saturday at Monmouth in R1. Bollinger and Gomomischief were reentered for 6/15 at Delaware, R5.

Impressive- Haskell next? This horse has really improved over the last 2 races.

I could see him in the Haskell... unless Cave Rock or Arabian Knight are being pointed there 🤔
