Not sure what board to put her on but I put her in my virtual stable some time back to follow - Sailing Along (Mr. Besilu - Moonlight Cruise, by Silver Deputy). I just thought she is an interesting follow being by Mr. Besilu ( A.P. Indy - Balance) . She's raced 21 times (4 wins/4 seconds/2 thirds) and has won $112,914. Just got an update she's back at Canterbury Park.

Wasn't Mr. Besilu like a billion dollar purchase? And whatever happened to the human Mr. Besilu? Time flies, you cannot, they fly too fast.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

4.2 million yearling.

Benjamin Leon is still in the racing game though not on the scale he was for that brief time. He has at least 2 broodmares, in Crown Queen and Delta's Royalty. He has had 4 starters this year that have made 9 starts, making it the most starts he has had since 2014. Even though he was only a BIG participant for the blink of an eye, he left his mark by being the breeder of Gun Runner.

I had to find the article that I posted last year in the broodmare thread from last year: https://paulickreport.com/news/bloodsto ... -industry/

I think he is still partnering with Three Chimneys on broodmares and racehorses here and there. But a lot of his former mares now seem to be owned by Three Chimneys.

Yes he used to partner with them but he hasn't since 2016. I get it though, it feels like stuff happened yesterday then its like wow that was years and years ago. hahaha The article I posted above (from last October) says he had sold all his mares to Three Chimneys except Royal Delta and Crown Queen, which he had sent to Europe. Crown Queen is back in the US now though.

3yo c First Minister won the Prix Hocquart (G3) at Longchamp today. He’s by Galileo out of MG3W Naples Bay, a Giant’s Causeway half-sister to MDO. Coolmore paid $3.6M for her i/f to War Front at KEENOV in 2014.

Thanks for the heads-up on this one. They don't come much better bred than that.

:o  Has it been that long? I was interested to note that Delta's Royalty's 2023 Kingman colt was foaled in KY. Will be very intrigued to see which stallion he used on her this year.

That is really interesting since he said he was going to leave her in Europe for a few more years, in that article. Because of that I hadn't even bothered looking at her 2023 foal, very cool thank you for finding that!

Tacitus' little sister Scylla won again today at Churchill; running off by some 8 lengths. She could be special.
