A mare with a good pedigree, and conformation had to retire from racing as a 3yr old. Bled badly, pulled up and never raced again. Would you disqualify her as a potential quality broodmare. As a buyer of her foals does this condition raise huge RED Flags?

I'd like to get some information on her parents: Was either the dam or sire a bad bleeder? If so, then that would seem like an inherited trait, and one I'd fear she might pass to her own offspring.
