I know this might be a lot to ask but it is hard to keep track of mares at farms. I was talking to Horse Country and figuring out what 'possible' mares might be seen at Winstar and Darley since the tours include going thru to mares division. It was mentioned that requests for particular mare can be checked upon at Darley, but not Winstar.
And here I am, I know Darley has Round Pond and Balletto (UAE), but who else? I am trying to draw names but am drawing blanks since they do move and export mares over to Europe and Australia. If you happen to know who else is in Darley Kentucky, please let me know.
Much appreciation!

One problem with Darley is that their mares are spread out over a bunch of properties. Will you just be touring the main farm (Jonabell)?FlyToTheStars wrote:I know this might be a lot to ask but it is hard to keep track of mares at farms. I am double checking with Horse Country and see what farm is exactly in the tour, I know Jonabell is but I am not sure if the tour eventually goes to another farm.Northport wrote:These are the farms that Sheikh Mohammed owns in Kentucky, from Darley's website.

When I saw Round Pond, she was at James Lane. However, she's been to Europe and back since then. And my friend previously saw her at Gainsborough. It does seem that the former Stonerside mares have tended to stay at that property, for whatever reason. Last time there was an update on Ashado, she was at Gainsborough.FlyToTheStars wrote:I am double checking with Horse Country and see what farm is exactly in the tour, I know Jonabell is but I am not sure if the tour eventually goes to another farm.Northport wrote:These are the farms that Sheikh Mohammed owns in Kentucky, from Darley's website.

I was at Darley @ Jonabell last month and saw Love Style (dam of Scat Daddy), Questing (GB), Tyburn Brook (o/o Round Pond), Cocoa Beach (CHI) and a few half sisters to Folklore.

WOW! Guess I should join that particular tour. Did you guys walk or on the bus? How did they point out the mares to you, did you get to see them up close? Sorry for all the questions!mosieposie12 wrote:I was at Darley @ Jonabell last month and saw Love Style (dam of Scat Daddy), Questing (GB), Tyburn Brook (o/o Round Pond), Cocoa Beach (CHI) and a few half sisters to Folklore.

They had a little shuttle that took the tour down to the barn. We got out and walked the barn. The mares/foals were all in their stalls so I knew who was who and we could pat them through the stall doors. Love Style's little Tapit filly was adorable.. got so many pictures.FlyToTheStars wrote:WOW! Guess I should join that particular tour. Did you guys walk or on the bus?
