I simply cannot believe nobody has a thread following Ghostzapper babies.

Iliad and McCraken gave their sire a great weekend with Iliad winning the San Vincente on the west coast and McCraken winning the Sam S Davis on the east coast. Iliad is now 2 for 3 and McCraken is 4 for 4. Iliad is tentatively pointing towards the San Felipe and Santa Anita Derby while McCraken is likely to stay in Florida and aim for the Tampa Bay Derby.

Goodzapper (3yo gelding out of Glinda the Good) is entered for his debut today at Gulfstream Park in Race 6 (6f MSW). I really liked Glinda The Good when she was racing and am very interested to see how Hard Spun (another personal favorite) does as a broodmare sire. Good luck and safe return!

Goodzapper finished 6th, beaten 19 lengths. Chart says he was blocked right after the start when another horse bobbled and blocked his path. Hopefully next time he gets a clean trip.

Awesome Zip (3yo filly o/o Miss Attractive) is entered in Race 3 today at Fairgrounds, a MSW going 5/5f on the Turf. Awesome Zip is a 3/4 sister to Gr.2 winner Awesome Baby, (by Awesome Again). In her 1st start, she finished 6th going 5.5f on the Turf and in her 2nd start she finished 3rd going the same distance on dirt.

McCraken will miss the Tampa Bay Derby with a strained ankle. His connections are hopeful that he can still make to Keeneland for the Bluegrass.

Spooky Woods (3yo filly o/o Winter Forest) is entered in the Gr.3 Santa Ysabel (Race 6, 1 1/16mi) at Santa Anita on 3/4.

Mr. Atila (3yo colt o/o Haysee, a half sister to Shackleford and Lady Joanne) is entered in Race 8, a 7f MSW, at Gulfstream - also on 3/4. In his only previous start he finished 2nd in a 6f MSW at Gulfstream Park West back in October.

Champagne Problems (3yo filly o/o Coral Sun, a half sister to Southern Image), is entered in the Gr.2 Davona Dale (Race 10, 1mi) at Gulfstream, also on 3/4.

Mr. Maybe (6yo gelding o/o Regal Approval) is entered in the Gr.2 Mac Diarmida Stakes (Race 12, 11f on the Turf) at Gulfstream Park on 3/4.

McCracken has his first foals on the ground - a filly in New York out of a Scat Daddy mare and a colt in Kentucky out of an Unbridleds Song mare.
