Too early to identify her as a bargain, I guess?

Day 1 sale topper $1.3 MM for an Uncle Mo colt to Repole and Magnier.

Whoever paid $150k for him as a yearling is certainly whistling a happy tune tonight.

The pinhooker on the Uncle Mo colt - Cary Frommer - was also the pinhooker on the $90k to $1M Uncle Mo colt that sold at FT a few weeks ago. Not sure if she picked just based on the horse or knew Uncle Mo was going to hit it big when she picked these colts up... but damn, girl!

I'm guessing it's a little bit of both. No doubt it helps when the owners of the stallion are 'on' your horses as well.

When was it bought? If in Sept, Uncle Mo was a known quantity at the time.

She will be no bargain. Potential 7 figure filly. Although probably short of that. There are a couple bargains. I know someone who plans on bidding on one of the the Distorted Humor colts and there might not be that much interest if he does not work that well over the synthetic track.
She was an out.
