That one might actually run. I'll take her.

She sold, unreserved, for $14,000.

Is that a decent price?
I watched. They had to adjust the camera.

While she does have racing lines, in my opinion, it was really high for her page. Under her first 4 dams there is one stakes placed runner in Panama, nothing else. She sold for $14,000 because she is white, no way anyone pays $14,000 for that page if she is bay or chestnut. I mean you could have gotten a much better pedigreed horse for the same price or cheaper.
There was a bay Flat Out filly that sold for $1,000 and her page is stronger than the white filly. The white filly was also the highest Flat Out yearling that sold at Keeneland.
I mean you could have gotten a Pioneerof The Nile filly out of a full sister to Giant Oak for $10,000.

Flat Out being sold to Oklahoma isn't necessarily a huge negative. He does lead either his crop/sire class (don't remember) by number of winners. I like to think a lot of people in the sales market are aware of the "if he doesn't get Uncle Mo numbers right away ship him out" mentality, and also keep in mind the trend of exported stallions suddenly getting graded winners after they leave (a la TCI, Sea Hero, DoW, etc). Exportation is not always synonymous with utter failure.
I think any small owner looking to buy racehorses would be interested in Flat Out's kids. The fact this girl's female family has produced several winners doesn't hurt her case either.
Not sure how much her coat color affected her price. We've seen whites and other wierd colors go through the ring for much less.

Is that the same filly that sold at Magic Millions? I guess it almost has to be. There were pictures in this thread somewhere of her in the sale.RugbyGirl wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2019 4:17 am Just saw this from a well know education farm on twitter. A 2yo thoroughbred filly by Holy Roman Empire

When I click the link it says the tweet doesn't exist. Has she been registered with a name yet?

She looks like she could be a Breyer model.

Breyer has a cantering mold, Flash, that would pretty much match her perfectly.
