You're welcome. Teruya Yoshida will send Spielberg some of his mares because the horse was bred at Shadai Farm.

A new addition today to the list: Real Impact, 7yo h, Deep Impact x Tokio Reality (Meadowlake), retired to Shadai Stallion Station with the fee of JPY 800,000.

Anybody know who the new grey stallion is who Big Red Farm recently posted pictures of on their FB page?

Edit: I think it's Jo Cappuccino (I hadn't heard of him) who has relocated from Yushun Stallion Station.

You're right. He moves to Big Red Farm in 2016 with the fee of JPY 300,000.

Oh no... :( He looked sooooo much like his father. But he lived to a good age and sired many winners... Isla Bonita & Kinshasa No Kiseki will maybe step into their sire's shoes...?

I think Zenyatta would be an excellent mate for him. She fits the bill for what the Yoshida's say they prefer to breed to him, big, robust mares who excelled at the track and from Mr. Prospector or Northern Dancer lines. And though they say he hasn't had much success with dirt races, perhaps if his offspring of many of the American dirt mares were raced here in the US, in dirt races, his numbers might improve. Excellent article. He has been a favorite of mine since his racing days.
