Al Shaqab has been a big name in the Arabian world for years. Sheikh Joaan races a lot of Arabians and won the last two Dubai Kahayla Classics with T M Fred Texas and Al Mamun Monlau, and his father Sheikh Hamad has bred some of the best show horses in the world under the Al Shaqab banner. It looks like Sheikh Joaan wants to make the stable a super power in the Thoroughbred world as well.
