At Tampa yesterday, a 2yo named Catch Ya Later Bro (Fury Kapcori) broke his maiden. The interesting thing? His 2yo full brother Twin Turbo is already a winner. That's right – 2yo full brother. Catch Ya Later Bro & Twin Turbo are twins, o/o the graded stakes producer Andrea Gail.

He finished 6th today in an allowance at Turfway.CorridorZ75 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 10:05 pm Faversham managed to beat winners at Turfway. He does seem to be running a bit better now that it has cooled off.

Beaten by a Frankel, of all things. I am guessing a Turfway allowance was NOT what they had in mind when planning that breeding...ThreeMustangs wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 9:50 pmHe finished 6th today in an allowance at Turfway.CorridorZ75 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 10:05 pm Faversham managed to beat winners at Turfway. They brought him over to try and get blacktype. But he obviously doesn't have tremendous talent. Juddmonte sold him at the 2019 Keeneland January sale. The current owners gelded him and he is entered in the 2020 Keeneland sale. I wonder if he is a good looking horse. His 1/2 brother, the good stallion Showcasing, is very pretty.CorridorZ75 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 10:47 pmBeaten by a Frankel, of all things. Well he did place in the Maila Stakes, so there's that I guess.

I am sort of shocked that he was gelded (being sired by Tapit) while Faversham has not. Not that they both shouldn't be, I just thought Faversham would be gelded first.mariasmon wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2019 4:32 pmHe has been gelded.Starine wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 10:05 pm California Chrome’s Half Brother Fort McHenry Tries Stakes Company At Gulfstream

Especially since he is a ridgling anyway. I wonder if they ever went in to get the undescended testicle.
Watching a few videos of Fort McHenry train and race, he always seems pretty rank and so I think gelding is at least the first step to getting him into a better place on the racetrack.

Sanctuaire (Deep Impact x Hilda's Passion) won the G3 Shinzan Kinen against colts. Because Heart's Cry, like Deep Impact, is a son of Sunday Silence, they're a little bit more closely related than just half-siblings.
