It had to happen...this thread is SO popular that a new website for breeders and fans has been established to showcase "the cutest animals on the planet." :P

That foal is spectacular. You can see why Tapit's fee is so high. Just beautiful.

As far as "most beautiful colt" for this year, I'd say it's neck and neck between this little guy and the Candy Ride/Conquestadory colt, with the Animal Kingdom/St. Malo's Gate colt not far behind.

Has anyone seen photos of the AK/Honey Ryder colt?

His fee isn't high because his foals are pretty.

I also really like the Frankel-Zenda colt (although I wish there was a photo of him standing) and the Maxios-Waldtraut colt. And yes, I realize Tapit's fee is high because he produces runners- but he also produces beautiful well-conformed foals.

Well, Brilliant Speed is by Dynaformer...not known for throwing little foals himself! Both sire and damsire (Stormy Atlantic) are 16.2...not huge, but definitely not tiny!

Thank you for posting these.
I look forward to seeing some chestnut babies by Orfevre, too.
It's about fifty-fifty so far.
