Earnshaw looks like he was positioned by someone who is more used to posing a different breed...like Saddlebreds?

Or ponies? Which is what he looks like, legs too short--no way is anyone going to run out screaming "Cathy! Cathy! Oh my heart's love. . .Stay with me always, drive me mad. . .But do not leave me in this place alone where I cannot find you. . .I cannot live without my life. I cannot die without my soul. . ." Wuthering Heights, 1939.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

It took me a minute to figure out why the heck you broke out into Wuthering Heights.Diver52 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 12:31 am Or ponies? I don't think I've ever seen a TB portrait where the horse was leaning so far forward that the heels of his rear hooves were off the ground.

Did some diggin' and there is a website for him with a more "official" photo. He definitely has a pony, vaguely Arabian body type. I'm not super familiar with breeding in France but I do know they are big on racing Anglo-Arabians and other mixed breeds so I suppose it's possible he is also being advertised for non-TB mares.

Not sure if his front right is clubby or his front left is just dodgy as hell but that photo doesn't do him any favours. It seems like the only photo options for him are either leaning forward or leaning backward.Mylute wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 4:28 pm Did some diggin' and there is a website for him with a more "official" photo. I wouldn't have known his sire is Medaglia d'Oro if I didn't look at his pedigree. He doesn't look like him at all.Mylute wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 4:28 pm Did some diggin' and there is a website for him with a more "official" photo.
