Hope's Love looked promising in the first start but then got injured and never lived up to that promise. With how the other siblings have run, that injury gives her a good excuse to say "She just never came back the same" instead of "She really sucks like the rest of them." Hopefully the Tapit(s) get more of their sire's talent.

R Sunday Surprise wasn't totally stinking... I mean 3 thirds in 4 starts would be incentive to keep trying, but dead last.. seems like a regression.

Or the other 2YOs are progressing and she's not.

So Mi Dar (Dubawi X Dar Re Mi) won a listed stakes at Yarmouth yesterday. It was her first start since she was injured in May. The Prix de l'Opera (G1) is probably next.

Hopefully she takes on Minding at some point. I was really looking forward to that match up earlier this year.

So Mi Dar is entered in the Prix de l'Opera on Sunday. No Minding, sadly.

So Mi Dar was a fast-closing third. Thought Frankie left her covered up a little too long.

Rouge Buck(JPN), 2012F. Manhattan Cafe(JPN) x Ginger Punch(USA), has finally come back to winner's circle.
She won impressively in the G3 Epsom Cup 1800m turf at Tokyo on June 19th 2016, beating the boys, overcoming her widest draw.
I'm sure that she will return to the G1 company in Autumn.

Rouge Buck(JPN) is set to kick off her Autumn campaign in the G2 Mainichi Okan 1800m turf at Tokyo on Oct 9th 2016. She is likely to be sent off as the top choice of the public.
