I like Notable Speech(GB)!! :D
He is undefeated.
And he has an inbreeding of Dancing Brave(USA) through G1 winning mares Zomaradah(IRE) and Cherokee Rose(GB).

The ITV coverage of the 1000 Guineas is such a welcome change from NBC. They are looking at every filly in the ring and commenting on conformation, temperament, race record and/or breeding.

Fallen Angel has a serious pair of ears.

Elmalka (Kingman) wins the 1000 Guineas in only her third start. Porta Fortuna was second and itty-bitty Ramaruelle ran her heart out for third.

The daughter of Nahrain(GB) came flying from the back of the pack to win it. 8-)
Personally I'm happy for her trainer Roger Varian and her sire Kingman(GB), too! :D

Nahrain was a nice racemare, but she’s turned into a very nice broodmare too. Elmalka is half to Benbatl.

One of the ITV commentators mentioned during the 2000 Guineas warm-up that one of the few knocks against him was that City of Troy’s dam and family failed to train on as 3yos. It will be very interesting to see whether CoT turns out to be another Air Force Blue or Auguste Rodin. Maybe CoT just neeed the race?

Godolphin’s Hidden Law won the Chester Vase (a Derby Trial), but then broke down after the line and was euthanized.

Being by Dubawi out of the Oaks runner up Secret Gesture (who was out of blue hen Shastye), it’s a big loss for the operation.

I saw that. It's a bummer but I'm glad it isn't too serious.

The flashy Economics (Night of Thunder) won the Dante (G2) by 6L. He may bypass the Derby as he would need to be supplemented.

Economics was taken out of the Derby by William Haggas so if he did run would cost 75.000 gns

Mr Haggas doesn't want to run him but its down to his owner he pays the bills
