TWO PHIL"S had a rather comfortable win in the Ohio Derby on June 24. Won by nearly 6 lengths. Second 105 BSF in a row. Third in a row over 100. He is racking up some pretty impressive numbers.

True. Just seemed he showed great promise, but yes, it would be a lot worse if he had to be put down. Felt sure he had at least one G1 win in his future. Maybe more. Sure would like to know when/how the injury occurred.

You mentioned your favorites having worse luck. Made me think of Eight Belles. I cried like a baby. Puts this more recent news in perspective. I hope he heals up well and makes some great babies. Hard Spun has done well, but has never had a truly BIG horse...all his multiple G1 winners have been fillies. The males all had one each. I had started to dream that Two Phil's might finally tick that box. I hope he goes to a top farm. I wonder if Darley might. They often take offspring of their stallions.
