I suspect that's among the main reasons the farm selected her to be the one on camera this year.

She's a listed stakes winner and G3P!

Magical World has three winners from three to race, and two stakes winners. I'm very excited about her Pioneerof the Nile juvenile, and I hope this guy can follow in their steps! (By Gun Runner, isn't he?)

A guy came in a few minutes ago, gave mom a treat, and then examined him head to toe. He barely moved (he's sprawled out on his side on the hay). He has still not moved from what I've seen.

Having said that, I’m not sure if this is normal but the foal’s right hind leg looks very off. Hopefully that’s just a newborn thing and it will correct itself very quickly.

He might just be bruised or it might have something to do with the contracted tendons they said he had. I mean they practically spun his dam is a 360 when they were trying to pull him out because he was stuck so bad. It would make sense to me that he didn't come out completely unscathed. But all in all I think he looks to be doing well.

Did Magical World have a 2019 foal by Into Mischief? BC Nom site shows this breeding for 2019 foal year but doesnt specify if colt or filly was born. Possibly it's too soon for the nomination data to be present or maybe there was no foal born to Magical World for 2019 foal year. Not sure.

If there isn't a sex listed, then she didn't produce a live foal. It could be she never got in foal or she lost it during the pregnancy or even that it died at birth. For NA foals, the BC nomination site is usually up to date within a few weeks of birth. So once you get to around July/August of the birth year, it should be up to date.

This article says she was barren to Into Mischief for 2019. This article talks quite a bit about Magical World.

VAULCLUSE, by AP Indy, Due 3/16 on Foal Patrol, is also a G1 producer . She also has a nice G3 placed 2016 Curlin filly - Arrifana - that looks to be returning to race soon in 2020 per workout reports.

VAULCLUSE was 3 for 3 in her race career, including a stakes win and new track record at Tampa Bay Downs for 1 mile 40 yards, which held for 11 years.
