I agree with Lane's End and Coolmore. I always liked Airdrie's too.
Claiborne has some of the worse. They always look short and stocky.
Claiborne’s are also way too shiny or glossy. Lane’s End and Coolmore’s have just the right amount, like fresh from a bath with natural sun instead of just being bathed in shine. Airdire’s are a bit on the shiny side but are still lovely. I’m looking forward to McCraken’s. I think Taylor Made’s are nice.Point Given wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 4:46 pmI agree with Lane's End and Coolmore. I always liked Airdrie's too.

No but neither did Shanghai Bobby. Shang Shang Shang is from Bobby's 2nd crop. Maybe they are hoping to buy him time, with the hope that either Shang Shang Shang does something else or he comes up with another horse that can win Graded/Group stakes.
Lane's End has a piece on their website about how The Factor's absence has brought his numbers up. He's a top 3 third crop sire. Maybe that's what they're going for?
I don't know if it had something to do with Fusao Sekiguchi keeping around 25% ownership in him? I guess its possible that it was put into his original sale contract that maybe they aren't allowed to sell him without Fusao Sekiguchi's permission? I honestly never understood how he was there this long either.Mylute wrote: ↑Fri Sep 28, 2018 12:19 pm Question:
Considering Coolmore’s penchant for selling sires overseas or elsewhere (usually prematurely), why have they kept Fusaichi Pegasus all these years? He’s had some good babies but he’s gone relatively quiet the past few years, ther than International Star.
EDIT: I’m looking at their American site right now and the roster and I got a mini heart attack because of how different it looks. Good grief.
Thanks Flanders.Cape Blanco, winner of the 2011 Eclipse Award for Champion Turf Male, will stand in Hokkaido next season, according to a report in the Racing Post. The Japan Bloodhorse Breeders' Association has entered into a lease agreement with Coolmore to stand Cape Blanco for one or two years.
both the following articles mention him being leased as well.tachyon wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 12:24 pmThanks Flanders.Cape Blanco, winner of the 2011 Eclipse Award for Champion Turf Male, will stand in Hokkaido next season, according to a report in the Racing Post. So ''a report in the Racing Post'' was the original source.
I still can't be 100% sure if he came to JBBA on a lease.
Was the lease extended after the '1-2 year' for some reasons?
Or, was he sold to JBBA finally?
We don't know.
He has been named "Adaaj".Sparrow Castle wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 8:33 pm I agree, mariasmon. I figured the Gunthers had a price in mind and he probably wouldn't reach it.
