The 2nd place finisher in that race, Finnegan, is an Unbridled's Song half-brother to Bodemeister. This was also his debut.

ETA: Accidentally left out words "half to" in front of "dual Grade 1 winner Verrazano."

Pretty embarrassing considering More Than Ready's Verrazano was one of my favorite colts.

Bayern's 2yo half brother by Scat Daddy is working at Los Alamitos. I'd guess with Baffert but not sure--bought by MV Magnier for $1.4 million at the 2yo sales. I just remember watching the streaming video and boy did he carry on! :) He's not named yet.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Okay, when I saw Japan yesterday the first thing I said was how much he looked like Al Khali. I know they're full brothers but they could be twins. Japan sure IS a pretty, pretty pony lmao.

Gleneagles won. You'resothrilling, a full sister to Giant's Causeway, now has two classic winners from her first two foals. Her first foal, Marvellous, won the Irish One Thousand Guineas last year.
