John Gosden introduces a lovely well bred 3 year old colt this afternoon by Dubawi=== Midnight Cloud called Moon Watch.
Midnight Cloud was a winner of 6 group 1s in France.
This is a repeat mating the first one showed nothing at all and she was also covered twice by Gallieo and those two also showed nothing when racing.
Im a bit surprised that this colt is running at Beverley ,the last 3 fur is all uphill. stiffish track in the country
Gosden dont send that many runners there.
Its not the greatest race, but he is getting 7 lb from 2 previous winners
Will be intresting.

This is a terrible incident. My condolences to the connections of the two horses who suffered injuries so severe they had to be euthanized.

I hope there is some investigation to find out why the horses panicked and crashed through a gate. Since I have a very low opinion of humans, I wouldn't be surprised if some a--holes thought it would be fun to spook the horses and make them run.

Within just four days, THREE different racecourses had to abandon their racing due to unsafe ground.

I can understand unforeseen problems causing slippery ground at one racecourse...but at THREE different tracks? It makes me wonder who is managing these tracks, and do they know WTH they're doing? What a terrible situation for the runners and their people, as well as the paying fans and those who wagered on the races that were cancelled.
