She was a bit unlucky down the stretch but I think she ran pretty well anyway.

 For wanting to take a nap in the paddock.

Bless her  Maybe she had a bit of a belly ache or she was just tired, wanted to roll. I love her!

Yusuke Yamaguchi tweeted:

''She returned to Miho Training Center safely and she was okay.''
''She will be sent back to the farm (in Hokkaido) to refresh herself. Then we would like to move forward again so that she could run better in the races.''
''Three months ago, I had to consider her retirement to be a broodmare after her debut race. I could never imagine that she would run this good from the mid-pack in a tough race like today as the race favorite.''
''This is just the beginning.''

She's still a baby. Really good that they let her rest at the farm over the winter where she can be just a horse before her 3 yo campaign

Yes!
Reframe is now at Yamaguchi's farm in Hokkaido.
She just begins by reviewing.

They say she may return to the G3 Queen Cup 1600m at Tokyo on Feb 13th 2021.

Yamaguchi tweeted:
''She leaves our farm (in Hokkaido) this week for Miho Training Center.''
'I believe that she will have no problem racing clockwise, too.''

Thanks, Tachyon--that's an impressive covered training track!
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

It snows a lot in Hokkaido! ;)

JRA offers three covered tracks in its ''Bloodhorse Training Center'' in Hidaka District, Hokkaido.
And small farms like Yusuke Yamaguchi uses these training facilities open to everyone, while big operations like Northern Farm or Shadai Farm have private facilities. If I'm not wrong, Northern Farm has at least five covered training tracks in Hokkaido and their overwhelming training facilities are thought to be ones of the keys for their huge success in the racing.

Reframe left Hokkaido today.

Her next start is going to be the G3 Queen Cup 1600 m turf at Tokyo, Feb 13th.

Do Japan run on grass all year, or do you have only dirt/AW through the winter?

JRA runs both on the turf and on the dirt all year.
But there's no meeting through the winter at the tracks in Hokkaido, Hakodate and Sapporo, where it snows a lot.

Thanks! I am starting to like Japanese racing more and more. Horses run longer and the best run against each other, I really miss that in Europe and North America.

You are welcome! :D
I really like Yusuke Yamaguchi's updates on Reframe.
His tweets also give us a glimpse of his farm and seasonal landscapes of Hokkaido. 8-)

Reframe(USA) is entered for the G3 Queen Cup 1600m turf at Tokyo for tomorrow.
This stakes race sets up a very deep Grade 3 this year with many hopefuls for the classic races entered!
Good luck to Reframe!

Wishing her the very best in her next race. She still looks a bit stiff when she goes round to the right and pulls to the outside on the turns. I don't think I've seen her on the rail. Kudos to her connections for taking so much time with her.
