That was why I posted it. ;) They also have a pic of G1 Byword and the deceased Fort Wood at http://mauritzfontein.com/

I honestly don't understand why they are photoshopping the stallions' photos. They have photos of other horses, yearlings, racehorses, mares, etc. that are really good and don't have the fake background. Someone there is talented with a camera. If anyone does Facebook, you should check out Mauritzfontein's photos.

I have found most (if not all) Photoshopped conformation photos to be unfortunate representations of the horse. Why farms continue to use them is a mystery, because they often create more flaws than they hide. Maybe some owner's over-eager, would-be-graphic-artist offspring has too much time on his/her hands?
That portrait of Ideal World has given him feet so tiny a Unicorn wouldn't want them.

LOL and Declaration of War's feet end at the ankles! (Okay, okay - pastern/coronet, if you want to be picky. )

DoW is a hunk, and at least he is standing in real grass, so we can reasonably guesstimate how deep it is.
IW has been pasted onto what looks like a putting green...and his feet are still too small.

Reminding us all that you can't judge a horse based upon a single photo, Cityscape looks significantly less homely in this shot from Overbury Stud, where he does NH duty.

oh yes, his head and neck look MUCH better! Some people don't seem to have ever looked at the photo they're using to promote their horse.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

He's pleasing overall. A nice looking animal. Plus, his damside looks like it might be more appealing than AP's. Wonder what sort of mares he'll attract.

From a Pretty Pony Poster side, I love his cute lil' head.
Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!
Like to see some stuck-up jockey boy sittin' on Dan Patch? Make your blood boil? Well, I should say!

Both those horses are attractive, each in their own way. Winslow may get the Pretty Pony nod with those dapples and that butt...which is so round that it should launch a thousand rap songs. ;)
Too bad that WH was never the soundest sort.

WOW. I must not've seen many shots of Winslow Homer before. I'm really quite taken with him, aside from his rather dainty legs (warmblood girl -- I like tree trunks for legs :D). His neck and head are quite fancy. And yes, that butt is something else! I wanna take him on a hunter course. I don't love his pasterns, but I don't love most UBS pasterns.

Cool Coal Man is always much heftier than I expect. I like his substance. He also screams "AP Indy blood" to me -- those genes really stick.

EDIT: For giggles, here is Winslow Homer's old shot that is still up on Bloodhorse. This year's is a definite improvement, IMO.

Wow! He looks so...normal. Like, I dunno, the horse you pass at the stables down the street driving to work every day. His little fuzzy ears! His outgrown mane!

I got a soft spot the size of Texas for War Emblem, so seeing him look like he's well cared for and comfortable warms my heart. Thanks for sharing!
