Oh yay, I was worried that it was worse... I saw an article last week but it looked like (with imperfect google translation) that he might've passed away so I waited to hear something official.

Yes, Mayano Top Gun was given the nickname ''Mach Shock Wave''.

JRA has been making posters promoting big Japanese stars since Haiseiko (1970) regularly.
77 horses have been honored so far and most recent (#77) is Just a Way.
