It's like they didn't even try to cover that up. ;)
Agree. :) I was just staring at it last night. I think you can kind of see the lead in the shadow. His nose is awfully flat at the bottom too, like perfect flat. I guess it could really be like that.
I think he looks good besides the photoshop, though I am far from a conformation expert.

Distorted Humor and Bellamy Road both have "eek!" right front legs.

Colonel John is my favourite.

All looking good - not one that looks overweight to me. I know that some are ridden under western saddle, including one of my favs Colonel John...

All the photos look dark to me. I know my monitor is set a bit toward the saturated side, but still...dark bay or brown horses against the dark opening of a barn? If I were art directing that photo shoot, I'd have placed them against a solid light-colored background. Light beige, 20-22" seamless would be nice.

Lots of "interesting" farrier work on these guys, too. Drosselmeyer has barely any rear hooves at all, Sidney's Candy has teeny tiny front feet, Bellamy Road and Speightstown look like someone chopped a couple inches off of each hoof, and several of them have no heels whatsoever.

When Bellamy Road was a 3yo, he popped a splint in his leg during/after the Kentucky Derby. He took a few months off and then Zito ran him in the Travers off of that injury, and he popped the splint again.

Walden, the founder and former owner of Vinery, and his partners Brad Kelley, Pat Madden, and David Hanley purchased the historic farm last fall. Bellamy Road, who has not raced since injuring a splint bone in his right foreleg last summer, will be the first stallion on the roster and will have a fee of $10,000 for 2007.
