I think the trembling/unsteadiness on his front legs is a familial trait. When I saw his grandsire, Our Emblem, at Taylor Made, he exhibited the same trembling in the front legs.

I shared the video with some friends who have worked on farms. One noted he looked cow-hocked. I'm not crazy about his ankle area (but that may just be more of my preference than any issues), and yes, the twitching legs concerned me too. I wasn't judging his weight or anything, as he seemed to be right off the track, so I'll give him that.

That's a shame about Smart Strike. But I am so glad he left behind a string of promising sire sons like Curlin, Lookin At Lucky and English Channel. He was one of the more versatile sires too: dirt horses like Curlin and Lookin At Lucky, turf horses like English Channel, Soaring Free, sprinters like Fabulous Strike, milers like Furthest Land, etc.

Sad to hear about Concern. I went to that BC. One of the few winners I had and had seats at the first turn. It was fun. I loved that little guy.

On the 15th anniversary of his sire's win in the DWC, he became the 2nd horse to sire 2 DWC winners.
Dubawi continues to show how much lost potential was in Dubai Millennium. To get a horse of Dubawi's caliber from a small crop of foals is amazing.

Wow, that was a Super Saturday for Dubawi!

His pedigree may tell us why he can sire winners at the highest level over different surfaces (dirt, synthetic and turf) and distances (from sprint to 12F).
Will he even beat Galileo with his versatility?

STALLION SHARP HUMOR HAS PASSED AWAY
Desperately sad news from Jeju Island as Let’s Run Stud Farm has reported that one of the jewels of its breeding program, Sharp Humor, died as the result of an accident on March 18.

There was very heavy rain on the island on the day of the accident. Jeju, with its rolling fields, agreeable climate and plenty of time out of the barn, is generally a pleasant posting for a stallion but a full inquiry into Sharp Humor’s death will review procedures with regard to the other valuable and high profile stallions, such as Menifee, Officer, Rock Hard Ten, Hansen and newcomer Tiz Wonderful, who stand there.

It's a shame that Al Kazeem (Dubawi) was found sub-fertile at stud.
But it's really great to see the 7yo remain in training and win his seasonal debut in the G2 Prix d'Harcout at Longchamp today!!!!!

I'm always on the lookout for news from the Jockey Club of Turkey because some of my favorite race horses are standing there, Lion Heart, Sea Hero among others (sorry Victory Gallop but I was rooting for Real Quiet).

Does anyone know of a resource that I can access to follow Harlington in Saudi Arabia? I know he went there- but not really sure who exactly has him.

I'd be interested to know, myself. A mare that my partnership raced ended up there, and I have no idea if there's a way to follow her babies.
