The sire and dam both reside in France. If that name is correct, The Jockey Club has nothing to do with it, and it is not prohibited (not on the International list of protected names). The name could not be reused for a Jockey Club-registered foal, however.lurkey mclurker wrote:
And speaking of, there's another Havre de Grace listed on Pedigree Query (foaled 2014)... I know there are rules about re-using names, and maybe seven years between them meets the criteria, but... HDG (2007) just seems like she would be a "bigger name" than that, in terms of legacy.
*shrug* I dunno, I guess I just feel like she deserves a longer wait-period than that. But that's my pet peeve, I suppose. :-p

No she had a grey Tapit filly last year. You can probably find some pics if you google Tapit Havre de Grace filly (it pulls up some other pics but she is there. She was born a chestnut but was greying out fast.lurkey mclurker wrote:Is he her first foal?Flanders wrote:Kelly Kip wrote:Havre de Grace waited until Valentine's Day to foal her War Front colt!
