I think it's the angle of the shot. I think he's quite lovely. Nicely balanced, beautiful hind end and shoulder. He still has a baby face, he's quite cute. Ruler of the World has an engine on him. Looking forward to their foals.

Beautiful horse...with a well-balanced build that says 'distance' to me. Lovely head, long neck, deep chest...my amateur eyes can't seem to find anything wrong with him.

Camelot is stunning. I hate those evenly chopped tails though.

I actually hate his head, it seems way too narrow :/

He's very Classic Thoroughbred looking. Like in a painting. I love his neck and head carriage. And those legs!!!

Bit back at the knee? But I agree, he looks like he walked out of a painting. Gorgeous.

He looks very much like his sire.

His look is certainly unique. Haven't yet figured whether I really like it or really don't. As others note, he looks like he stepped out of a George Stubbs painting (and I'd always wondered if any horses back then really looked like that). He looks like a Whippet, with a too-small, narrow head.

It looks as though his hind leg sets out pretty significantly.

Would be an interesting horse to see in person.

Isn't a smaller head just less weight to carry? LOL (I think he's stunning.)

You guys are just nit picking now. ;)

As for his head, I think it fits his body.

His barrel looks insane compared to the rest of him. Like a redwood tree trunk.

I shall ride him into battle.
Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!
Like to see some stuck-up jockey boy sittin' on Dan Patch? Make your blood boil? Well, I should say!

I saw him at Ashford a few months after he retired and thought he was outstanding. I hope he does well.

We need to have a side-by-side of him and Camelot... ;-)

Only thing I'd nitpick on Cape Blanco (having seen him in the flesh) is that he does not have very nice feet.

Funny you should say that, I likened him to a Tyrannosaurus Rex with that big ol' head.
