I think it's the angle of the shot. I think he's quite lovely. Nicely balanced, beautiful hind end and shoulder. He still has a baby face, he's quite cute. Ruler of the World has an engine on him. Beautiful horse...with a well-balanced build that says 'distance' to me. Lovely head, long neck, deep chest...my amateur eyes can't seem to find anything wrong with him.

His look is certainly unique. Haven't yet figured whether I really like it or really don't. As others note, he looks like he stepped out of a George Stubbs painting (and I'd always wondered if any horses back then really looked like that). It looks as though his hind leg sets out pretty significantly.
