Pin Up was 6th, Regia Marina was 5th, Fast Moon was 4th, Spirit was 9th, Fine Instincts was 3rd, Delightful Melody was 13th (and last), Chiding was 2nd, and Casco Passage was 8th.

Humoristica (Distorted Humor X Halfbridled) just won first time out in the 5th at Santa Anita, a 6 1/2 furlong MSW down the hillside turf course.
BTW, is Rachel's filly on the inside or outside in the photo above?

She was 2nd. Spark won and she's out of a full sister to Monarchos. Thepartyneverends was 3rd and she's out of a half sister to Adieu.

Z Besha (Ghostzapper X Holy Blitz) - full to Judy the Beauty. Made his debut in the 3rd at Santa Anita today and finished 3rd for Zayat/Baffert

I watched that race, and Z Besha was way at the back of the field...made up 20-25 lengths to finish third. Was charging down the stretch with a Euro-style turn-of-foot. Going to be very interested to see how he does in his next out.

Yeah I thought Z Besha's close was VERY impressive. I think he is one to watch going forward for the Derby. When he decided to actually run, he was just closing like a freight train. Big Hat Charlie was 4th (Indian Charlie half to Malibu Moon)
