Reminds me of his distant relative Secretariat...quite the looker. Wonder if he will ever ship over to the US for a race.

I strongly hope that he will ship over to the US for some races at some point, too.
He is the most impressive maiden winner on dirt I have ever seen in Japan.
His next start is still unknown.

It looks like Barows is the eponym of owner Hirotsugu Inokuma. Kate Hunter had a great article on eponyms in Japanese racing but the link to it has expired. Many Japanese owners like to add a certain word onto their horses' names, like Riichi Kondo and "Admire", Masatsugu Takezono and "TM", Yoshio Matsumoto and "Meisho", etc. I can't remember if it is for identification of who the owner is or what, but it is pretty common in Japan.

What a shame!!!

That was the greatest and the only complete write-up (in English) on the Japanese ''kanmei'' (eponyms) for the horse names.
I hope that Kate Hunter will reload her ariticle on the net.

As Northport already mentioned, Golden Barows(USA) is owned by Mr Hirotsugu Inokuma.
Hirotsugu Inokuma owns and operates ''Barows Inc.'' which creates and distributes contents to cell-phone and mobile-phone users.
As a racehorse owner, Hirotsugu Inokuma has about 50 horses that are currently in training and names all of them with ''something'' + ''Barows''.
Inokuma's biggest success to date may have been the well-bred Antonio Barows(JPN)[2006H. Manhattan Cafe(JPN) x Little Arrow(USA) by Kingmambo(USA)], grade 3 winner and Japanese Derby placed. His third dam was Natalma(USA).

Golden Barows is trained by Noriyuki Hori, one of the top trainers in Japan.
His major success include such G1 winners as Kinshasa no Kiseki(AUS), Jaguar Mail(JPN), Strong Return(JPN) and Real Impact(JPN). Most recently he won the G3 Tokyo Sports Hai Nisai Stakes with Satono Crown(JPN)[2012C. Marju(IRE) x Jioconda(IRE)], full brother to G1 winning filly Lightening Pearl(IRE).

and the Wayback Machine didn't have that page in its archives either.

I looked at her Twitter info and she has an email address for PacaPaca Farm but the farm website itself is under construction so I don't know how useful it might be. And I keep my tweets protected so I can't tweet and ask if she could repost it.

Bummer.

Hmm, though the farm itself is on Facebook, maybe someone who is on FB could ask about it that way. And there are lots of cute photos of mares & weanlings & the farm.

She is now working for Paca Paca Farm, and still active on the twitter but not on her own blog.
I firmly believe that she was the best spokesman for the Japanese racing.
We all loved her ''keiblog''.....

Golden Barows(USA) won in Tokyo 7R 1600m dirt allowance on Jan 31st 2015, off a two months layoff.

I guess that his connections just couldn't find a right spot for him.
He will aim for a stakes next and he has been nominated to the UAE Derby.
I hope they will give him a shot.
He shouldn't stay in Japan, if he is a real dirt horse!
