In race 100, Run Smart One again was put in over his ability at $7.500 at 75 to 1 and ran a trailing seventh.
He also raced similarly on 11/2.
Too many races.
I think the plan is to get him back to $5,000 where he stands a chance of placing.
Wonder what will happen if Patrick Ashton gets tired of this game.

Ashton only has two horses running at Philly Park.
He runs both of them a lot.
The other is named Lugina (or something like that).
He is running a shoestring stable.
He is not going to retire any horse that can still run.
Budhoo should have ben the one to retire the horse
but he also runs very small stable.
These owner/trainers are not the Whitneys and Phipps families.
It's all dollars and cents at their level.

You are welcome, Jane.
Noble Jewelry has not yet officially been registered as a broodmare in the Japanese studbook.
But I have just found her name in the Deep Impact's covering list.
I hope that some of these Smarty daughters' foals will ship to the US some day!

Pennsylvania Nursery Stakes for two-year-olds has a lot of Smarty history behind it.
NASA will be first or second-favorite. NASA is a promising son of Smarty out of a Seattle Slew mare.
NASA is 1-1-1- in three lifetime starts but lost to Flagdini (also in this race) in a maiden race.
I believe Res Judicata was a winner of the Pa. Nursery Stakes as well.
