Well, Henny Hughes definitely went over far better in Japan than he would've here in the US. The move to Japan was definitely a good thing for him.

Nice to see him get a large book. Hopefully he gets some nice progeny in his first few crops (although he already really has proved himself with Asia Express) and his books stay big.

Asia Express(USA), champion juvenile colt in Japan 2013, showed off how fast and versatile a Henny Hughes(USA) baby can be! :D
It was a shame that Asia Express sustained an injury after his latest graded win two months ago. But he is expected to be back in the G1 February Stakes on dirt next year.

It was already mentioned here that Tiz Wonderful was sold to Korea, but Any Given Saturday has also been sold. I didn't even realize he had relocated to PA.

According to some idiot poster over at Bloodhorse, all these stallions are actually going to North Korea and all the stallions that have ever been sold to South Korea also were sold to North Korea.

I also read some comments that suggested they would be eventually be used for fighting--Korean stallion fighting. You learn so many new things from reading posts like that!

Not that I think these stallions will end up fighting, however, in some very rural areas in So. Korea, stallion fighting is a family entertainment event.

A 1/2 brother to champion Treve(FR) will stand at Haras d'Orion, Normandy, France, next Year.

Trevimix(FR), 2006H. Linamix(FR) x Trevise(FR) by Anabaa(USA), retired from racing maiden after two starts at 2 due to tendon injury and became a riding horse at 3. He was found by Eric Breteau (Haras d'Orion), in an equestrian center.

Trevimix has been stolen from Haras d'Orion and missing since September 21st. :o

This is the only thing I've found on that, a tweet that's been copy & pasted so many times that I can't tell who originally said it:
Treves older brother, the stallion Trevimix (Linamix),has been stolen from Haras d'Orion in Calvados according to their Facebook page.
On their Facebook page, they posted an advertisement of Trevimix's stud fee on October 5, and some other stuff about Treve since then. I don't see anything about him being stolen, although it's all in French so I'm relying on translations.

Here below is the original source:

Paris-Turf.com (one of the major racing-newswires in France) also reported on this, in reference to the above:

And this is from France-Sire.com which is believed to be the most reliable source for French stallions.

Okay, that makes more sense. I thought they meant the Facebook page of the farm where he was stolen from (Haras d'Orion). They don't mention him being stolen, and they advertised his stud fees on October 5.

Declaration of War, a gallant third on his only start on dirt in last year’s Breeders’ Cup Classic, will relocate to Ashford Stud for the 2015 breeding season in a move similar to that made by triple champion sire Giant’s Causeway.

I think American breeders are going to be very receptive to this horse....his multi-surface ability, his pedigree, his looks. And IMHO, with a different rider, he might have won the 2013 BC Classic.

That's kind of incredible. :o I normally only see numbers like that for a popular shuttle stallion.
With that many Kitten babies hitting the ground next year, I'm afraid that they're going to run out of 'Kitten' names.

That, and the Ramseys are laughing all the way to the bank. I do like his breeding- just those fracking kitten names. :?
