Which probably means I'm a horrible person. ;)

It is kinda clever, but I thought of the jockey- Jorge Chavez- rode mainly in NY for those who don't know and that was his nickname.

Slewdledo. Ok, maybe not particularly clever but an all around fun name. I smile every time I think of it.

Fried (Freud-Struckbylightning). This one's been running at Finger Lakes for years, but I just noticed the derivation of his name the other day.

Our partnership has a bright chestnut colt named Copperplate (Curlin x Verdana Bold). His dam's name is a font, his sire is shiny like a penny and so is he, so he was also given the name of an appropriate font :D

Here's a few from many years ago that I've never forgotten. They brought a smile to my face then, and they still do.

Blushing Groom x Outdraw - Shotgun Wedding

Splendid Courage x Worth Trying - Third Marriage

Polish Navy x Costly Doll - Tailhook Trouble

Dam's name is Out To Lunch - Back At Two

Dam's name is Hail Hillary - Subpoena The Dress
