I think Crown Queen is stepping up to G1 level next out in the QE II Challenge Cup at Keeneland going 1 1/8. I hope she does well enough to move onto the BC F&M Turf, where I really anticipate seeing her go 1 1/2.

the F/M Turf is only 1 1/4 when ran at Santa Anita, other tracks its 1 3/8m.

Lots of well-bred horses today.

Epsilon is in the third at Belmont (Desert Party-Munnaya colt who is half to Alpha)
Boone Docks is in the first at Belmont (Smart Strike-Belle of Perintown)
Also in the first Midhmaar (Tapit-Take D'Tour)
In the second, Scam (Giants Causeway-Smuggler)

Pepper' s Pride' s first surviving foal, Punctuate, goes today at SA. By Distorted Humor.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

He looks like a MdO too. To me, he's the spitting image of Plum Pretty. But then again, a lot of his good offspring tend to look pretty much the same.

Caprock Kid (Sky Mesa x Western Humor) runs in the 3rd at Belmont in a few minutes. His dam, Western Humor, is a half sister to Coronado's Quest!

Voyage Beyond (Tapit-Sightseek) just raced in a maiden special weight at Churchill downs. She finished in another zip code, and not in a good way. The winners, Streetheart and Keen Pauline deadheated.

Punctuate did her momma proud...Pepper's Pride's little girl just won the 4th at Santa Anita, and she didn't exactly do it the easy way. Way back early, threaded her her way through the large field, came around the field at the head of the stretch, and ran past everyone to win by several. Looked plenty green, and may be even better if she learns to run straight. Niiice.

Her filly didn't race, and was apparently bred to Western Gambler this year.
