Zarshana, the half sister to Zarkava won the Grade 3 Prix Minevre today! She did it pretty impressively coming from the back to win nicely by a half length! They think she will mature nicely for next year and say she could be a G1 caliber horse!

It's a shame she was beat but she ran a great race in defeat. Never gave up. I still like her for the Arc, Sea The Stars lost a race once as wellBaroqueAgain1 wrote:Taghrooda was upset by Tapestry in today's Yorkshire Oaks.

Tall Ship won the Chichester Observer Stakes (a handicap) impressively today, drawing away to win by 7 lengths (horse who finished 2nd was another 8 ahead of 3rd)! That's no easy feat at Goodwood!

Tragic news. Vodka was a fabulous racemare, and to lose her Sea the Stars colt like that must be terribly painful for her connections.
