Blind Lucky: Turf champion English Channel has relocated to continue his stud career at Brad Kelley’s Calumet Farm near Lexington, Ky. He most recently stood at Lane’s End Farm in Versailles, Ky.
Prescient move by Calumet, because now they have a stallion who not only won the BC Turf, but has also sired today's Travers winner...on the dirt.

They didn't have a choice. Melnyk owned a big part of the horse and since he is dispersing all his stock, the horse went to the highest bidder.Life At Zen wrote:Wow, considering all the rage after IHA and all the promoting they did...DanLewis wrote:Flower Alley will stand in 2015 at Wilgerbosdrift in South Africa who have purchased the 12 year old son of Distorted Humor..
Edited to add: I mean I guess they had a choice to bid more to try and keep him in the US.

He looks super in that video and his groom seems to really be proud of his charge.

Very much so, and he took care of Sunday Silence as well. Can only imagine what it must be like to care for a horse like that. Hope Novellist does well.Private Thoughts wrote:He looks super in that video and his groom seems to really be proud of his charge.

Thanks for the video link. Novellist looks to be in really spectacular condition. He was a topflight racehorse; one of the best in the world so I am hopeful he will become a top sire with all of the support he is getting from Japanese breeders.
Who are some of the more prominent mares he has covered?
