Margano is now a GELDING!!

Margano's workout on 8/15/2014 @ Fair Hill lists him as a 5 year-old horse.

Now, Equibase lists him as a gelding.

Not surprising. He already has two full brothers at stud, and they aren't getting all that many mares.

Short video of Cozmic One and Jess's Dream training at Saratoga. With short clips of the 2009 Woodward and BCC, as well as brief comments by trainer Kiaran McLaughlin.

Cozmic One, a colt produced by 2010 Horse of the Year Zenyatta, and Jess's Dream, a colt out of 2009 Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra, prepare to begin their racing careers at Saratoga Race Course.
Go behind the scenes with the connections of these highly anticipated 2-year-olds as the work toward their first career start. Zenyatta's colt is by 2006 Preakness Stakes winner Bernardini and Rachel Alexandra's colt is by two-time Horse of the Year Curlin.

Cambiocorsa is a 100% producer starters/winners, by 4 different sires. And 3 of her 4 to race have been graded stakes performers. Schiaparelli might've been the most talented, but probably the least sound. All 4 of her starters have won on the downhill at SA, too. Schiaparelli was the only one who didn't break her maiden on it. This was a good reminder to add her 2YO (and first colt), El Gran Turismo, to my VS.

He is added. I love that she has produced nothing but runners.

4th today, still not scratched for Sat. Not that I don't expect him to scratch, just that we've seen these quick turnarounds work well at times, so maybe they've got a plan.

Eblouissante entered Sunday at Del Mar. She was also entered a few weeks ago when I was there but scratched when they took the race off the turf. I'll believe it when I see her in the starting gate!
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Oof. I'm pretty sure Ludicrous (Medaglia D'Oro x Victory Ride) just broke down in R4 at the Spa.

ETA: euthanized on the track.

"@DRFAndersen: Bee Brave (3-1) overcame trouble in the stretch to win Sunday's 2nd over Yahilwa. Eblouissante was last of 7, fading in stretch. "

Think she'll be retired now?
