Hope it works out!
Looks like they're off the turf again at Del Mar for the weekend, so I guess it's Polytrack or scratch!
Maybe she was entered knowing/suspecting that.

Samantha Nicole was 4th just now at Saratoga in the 3rd after setting an easy pace all by herself. Shame she couldn't hold on

I can't take the guessing games with this horse anymore. They should just try turf, if it doesn't work then retire her.

I hope Ebouissante runs, I'm going to Del Mar this weekend.

I think some trainers may have entered the turf races as unofficial MTO. I see Baffert put Pimpernel (x Xtra Heat) in a turf spring--I'm sure he's not sad that it came off.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

I think she must have some sort of record going for number of workouts/scratches per start.
The transfer of turf races to the main track through Sunday because of a rash of serious injuries on the turf course will lead to the withdrawal of Eblouissante from Sunday’s second race, trainer John Shirreffs said.

“I wanted to try her on turf,” Shirreffs said.

It's hardly a surprise if a trainer withdraws a horse who he wanted to run on the grass, when that race has been taken off the grass.
It's not John's...or Ebby's...fault that Del Mar has a problem with its new turf course.

I don't really think that anyone would say it was their fault. It makes perfect sense to scratch her if it's off-the-turf. It's just that she's getting to be more well-known for her scratches and number of workouts than she is for races.

I get that...I wish that the mare had been able to get into the gate more often than she has. Maybe another grass race with the right conditions for her will get carded at Del Mar before this meet ends...if they get the course right.

2yo Profess, a War Front half-sister to Pulpit, makes her debut in R8 at Monmouth Park today. She was produced when Preach was 23; is she her last foal?

Yes. Preach was also bred to War Front for 2013, but did not produce a foal. She was not bred back after that.

She didn't run well, but MTH was muddy today.

Tiz Midnight won, Fleet of Gold was 2nd and (I think) Front Range was 6th.

She's awesome. I hope Mott tries a graded stakes next.

Don't Leave Me broke her maiden yesterday at Woodbine. She is by Lemon Drop Kid out of G1 SW See How She Runs.
She's one that I would expect to get better with age.

Condo Commando just won her debut in impressive fashion at Saratoga. She's by Tiz Wonderful out of grade II winner Yearly Report.
