How about siblings of siblings?

Half brothers Joe's Blazing Aaron (Graeme Hall x Distorted Blaze) and Tiz Sardonic Joe (Tiznow x Distorted Blaze) ran 1-2 in race 7 at Saratoga on Friday.

Their younger half-brother Majestic Hussar (Majestic Warrior x Distorted Blaze) ran 6th in race 5 at Saratoga on Saturday.

All three were in for a $50k tag.

That was impressive. Was excited about her from the start. Not surprised they stretched her out to 1 3/16 already and not surprised she loved it.

Track Date Course Distance Time Note Rank
Saratoga 7/7/2014 Dirt 3F 37.04 Breezing 5/18
Saratoga 6/30/2014 Dirt 3F 37.09 Breezing 3/6
Yay!

That is only a week apart, I would consider that the normal spacing for most workouts.
Lol my mistake, I read that as 7th of July and 6th of March  That's what you get for being British (and missing the 0 from the 30  )
I figured you must have misread the dates. ;)

Aldrin (3/4 to Tapit) is entered for R3 at SAR on Sat. He was the Keeneland April Sale topper. And his is with Chad Brown and not Nick Zito, as I had feared.

Her 2yo full brother, Gleneagles, won the Tyros S (G3) at Leopardstown yesterday. Only two other horses in the race, though.

I'm so sorry to hear about Longview Drive. Not a good week at Del Mar.

The winner of the Cougar II was Irish Surf (Giant's Causeway-Surfside).

That was embarrassing, considering how much they hyped him.

I'm intrigued that Serene Melody has been switched to Charlie LoPresti, who has entered her for her 8th MSW attempt at Presque Isle this Wednesday.

There are some in my VS that I just don't have the heart to remove until I make a permanent list of those I kept up with... horses like Big Truck and Tin Cup Chalice are still there for that reason. I just hate to remove them and forget them :(
